UK visa centres have continued to reopen worldwide since 1 June 2020. The reopening has been phased and has been dependant primarily on the country where the visa centre is located. Next week several UK visa centres in the U.S.A, Canada, South Africa, Bangladesh and others are expected to reopen. View the full list of UK visa centres due to open and due to re-open

Travel Corridors

The Coronavirus regulations have required traveller to provide their information (pre-arrival) and to self-isolate since 8 June 2020. In addition to the previous exemptions, the UK government has also announced a travel corridor list. Travellers who have spent at least 14 days in any of these countries are no longer required to self-isolate, if arriving in England (different rules apply for Scotland(. However, they must still complete the travel locator form and provide their details upon arrival.

Travellers who arrived before 10 July 2020 must continue to self-isolate for 14 days.

Transit: If the traveller makes a transit stop in a non-exempt country, they are still required to self-isolate if:

  • New passengers get on the plane
  • The travellers get off the plane in the transit country and re-embark.
