EU Settlement Scheme
The EU Settlement scheme is still open however the Home Office are no longer accepting documents by post. There may be severe delays in documents being returned to you if you posted them after 25 March 2020. For those who posted documents on or before 25 March 2020, documents will be returned as soon as possible.
UKVCAS Services
All UKVCAS services have now been suspended in light of COVID-19. There is no indication as to when the centres will be open again, but Sopra Steria have stated they will keep this under review. All appointments will be automatically rescheduled and an email will be sent out to applicants. Nevertheless, this will not disadvantage applicants as UKVI recently published guidance which states that all foreign nationals whose leave to remain in the UK expired from 24 January 2020, will be able to extend their visa until 31 May 2020.
