To obtain protection the whistleblower must comply with the following:

1. He/she must be a worker or a job applicant in the NHS or in children's social care.

2. The whistleblower must reasonably believe that one or more of the following malpractices have happened, are happening or are likely to happen.

Company policy regarding raising concerns that could warrant whistleblower protection

Guidance on whistleblowers with practical points including protected disclosure, malpractice, protection rights, liability and remedy.

Checklist to follow when a worker wishes to make a disclosure or you are involved in a disclosure.
