Reading: Employment Law Forum – Tricky TUPE Issues

office meeting room with chairs around a table

As part of Clarkslegal’s Employment Law Forum series, we are holding a practical session on ‘Tricky TUPE Issues’ exploring some of the more complex matters which arise in the context of business transfers and service provision changes. The session assumes a working knowledge of TUPE and is aimed at senior/experienced HR professionals and in-house counsel.

The session will be held at our Reading office and will cover:

  • Whether TUPE applies (including in the context of organisational integration, cross-border transfers, framework agreements, change of client and fragmentation);
  • Who is in scope to transfer (including directors, causal/zero hour workers, what happens when work stops/reduces)
  • TUPE and redundancy (including unfair dismissal exposure, TUPE information and consultation obligations, pre-transfer redundancy consultation)

Places are limited. To confirm your attendance, please RSVP by calling 0118 958  5321 or email marketing@clarkslegal.com.

Please feel free to bring along any of your colleagues or contacts who may be interested in this topic.
