open-planned-office-with-lamps-chairs-computers

As part of our Employment Law Forum series we would like to invite you to our next seminar on ‘Pull Yourself Together!’ – How to Manage Workplace Stress and Prevent Brownout, at our Reading office this June.

In the session, Clarkslegal’s employment team will cover:

  • How to identify the tell-tale early signs of employee stress
  • Employers’ legal obligations in managing and minimising stress in the workplace
  • Managing sickness absence and underperformance due to work-related stress
  • Employers’ duties to disabled employees with stress
  • When is it fair to terminate the employment of stressed employees?

How to spot and prevent Brownout, the cousin of Burnout

You’ve heard of Burnout…but have you heard of its cousin, Brownout? Brownout is less severe, but far more common than burnout and potentially very damaging to individuals and businesses. A recent survey in the US suggested that 5% of executives suffer burnout and 40% experience Brownout.

In this seminar, we will be joined by Dr Rose Aghdami, who will speak about how to spot Brownout, how to survive it and how to prevent it happening again and again. Prevention includes knowing about resilience, and incorporating it into both work life and personal life.

Places are limited. To confirm your attendance, please RSVP by calling 0118 958 5321 or email marketing@clarkslegal.com.

Please feel free to bring along any of your HR colleagues or contacts who may be interested in this topic.

We hope you can join us on 8th June.
