Employment Update Seminar: The new IR35 system: how this will affect your business and your people

Many organisations rely on self-employed contractors providing services through personal service companies. Until recently it was the consultant and their company’s responsibility to decide what their status was for tax purposes, and to pay the appropriate tax. In 2017 the system changed in the public sector, with the end user of the services having to declare the contractor’s status, and the paying company accounting for tax, if they are in effect an employee. In April 2020, equivalent changes will come into effect in the private sector for large and medium businesses.

Join us for our IR35 breakfast seminar as our legal experts cover:

  • What are the incoming IR35 changes?
  • How will this affect your financials?
  • How will this affect employment rights of your consultants and contractors?
  • What HR and business planning do you need to do now?
  • How will you retain present and pipeline talent when the new changes take effect?
