The EU Exit: ID Document Check is an app by the Home Office which is used to verify the identity of anyone applying under the EU Settlement Scheme. The app provides a quick way of applying under the scheme, without the need to send your physical documents to the Home Office for verification.

Previously, the app has only been available on Android Phones, but the Home Office has now rolled it out on iOS, the operating system for Apple devices.

This roll out will be welcomed by EU citizens who now have a wider choice of devices to initiate this process.

The app provides a quick way of applying under the scheme.
