With the GDPR coming into force in only 6 months, organisations (who haven’t already) should be starting their preparations.
The ICO has been publishing guidance to assist organisations in preparing for GDPR compliance and, this month, launched a helpline for small organisations. This phone line offers additional support and advice to small businesses and charities, allowing them to speak directly with the ICO. It can be accessed via the ICO’s main customer service line (0303 123 1113) and then selecting option 4.
